Our Story

Heyven was first imagined in 2020, during a time when many people felt disconnected. Business owners needed access resources and better ways to build meaningful relationships.

After lots of researhc, one thing became clear: Minnesota didn’t have a central place designed to truly bring people together, especially one that reflected the diversity and creativity of our local communities.

We couldnt find it, so we built it.

After months of thoughtful development, Heyven officially launched in June 2023 as an online directory featuring creators, businesses, and nonprofits. Since our launch we have been dedicated to connection, visibility, and collaboration.

With more than 525,000 small businesses in Minnesota, supporting local is essential to the future of our communities.
