Caitlin Kimpton is a beloved creative and activist from Minneapolis, Minnesota, who has become an advocate for raising awareness about Ulcerative Colitis. After years of misdiagnosis, Caitlin was finally diagnosed with this rare autoimmune disease in 2021. In 2022, after trying every treatment option, Caitlin had to undergo a Proctocolectomy and J-Pouch Procedure, one of the most painful surgeries in the world and is now in a multi-year recovery process.

Determined to help others facing similar struggles, Caitlin has reached over 100k people on social media, providing support and raising awareness. They created the fundraising team “Caitlin’s Kin” to help fund a cure and support others living with this condition.
