Gather your family for a storytelling experience curated by Planting People Growing Justice!
On Saturday, February 3, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., join us at the Rondo Community Library for our Black History Month edition of the Leaders Are Readers program.
This month, they will feature Sideena Grace, a Minnesota native and accomplished scientist, engineer, and author, who will bring her children’s book, Adventures with Sideena ABCs in Space, to life. Through captivating rhymes and mesmerizing illustrations, this engaging read-aloud will transport young readers on an alphabetical journey through the wonders of outer space. From astronauts to zero gravity, Sideena’s story ignites curiosity, fosters a love for science, and inspires young minds to dream big about space exploration.
After the reading, attendees will have the chance to meet Sideena Grace, snap a photo, and get their book signed. It’s the perfect opportunity for children to connect with an inspiring role model who is breaking boundaries and encouraging others to follow their dreams.
