On Saturday, March 2, join Planting People Growing Justice Institute as they celebrate Women’s History Month by honoring the achievements of extraordinary women throughout history.
This inspiring event features Dr. Artika R. Tyner—award-winning author, civil rights attorney, and advocate for justice. She will present her powerful series, The Future is Female. Through an engaging read-aloud and captivating storytelling, Dr. Tyner introduces young readers to the remarkable contributions of women who have shaped our world.
Attendees will explore The Future is Female series, which highlights four impactful titles:
Changemakers in Activism
Changemakers in Business
Changemakers in Government
Changemakers in STEM.
Each book showcases the determination, innovation, and leadership of women who have driven positive change across a variety of fields.
Following the read-aloud session, families and young readers will have the chance to meet Dr. Tyner for a book signing and photos. To inspire a love of reading, the event will also include free book giveaways.
