Join Dr. Terresa Hardaway and Jessica Garcia Fritz, co-curators of the upcoming Resist & Reclaim exhibition (opening this November at the Goldstein Museum of Design), for an inspiring evening of creativity and community.

They’ll kick off the evening with a virtual tour of the exhibition, sharing how 20 Black and Indigenous women and femme artists have transformed second-hand denim into powerful statements of sovereignty and liberation.

After the tour, attendees will get hands-on by crafting their own artistic responses. Each participant will receive a denim square and art materials to interpret the exhibition's themes—contributing to a community-curated denim quilt that will be added to the exhibition itself.
